I came across the term
'Shadowhouse' in an
obscure book on names for
historical garden structures
along with gazebo, folly,
grotto etc. I thought the
word was so evocative and
mysterious that I adopted it
as the name for my studio
as well as using it for my
business address.
I often open my studio and
garden to the public during
the Cambridge Summer
Festival, as part of
Cambridge Open Studios
held during weekends in July.

I will be having a year off
this July - 2010, as I will be
in the middle of some major
new commissions - see

details. However, I do plan
to participate in Cambridge
Open Studios in July 2011
to show some of my current
work. I will be announcing
that on my Events page
