Description

This is an extraordinary collection of eight children’s stories that have their roots buried deeply and widely within the Jewish tradition, made accessible in this book to a global audience. The stories are written by Rabbi Shoshana Boyd Gelfand, whose passion is sharing Jewish wisdom in different and inspiring ways.

The stories in this book address some of the big questions we all have about being alive and how we can face our personal challenges. We meet Natan in The Boy who Prayed the Alphabet, who expresses his spirituality in a unique and unexpected way. We also meet The Prince Who Thought He Was a Rooster, who has to have his individuality recognized before he can become fully human.

This is a lavishly illustrated book with new delights of image, color and decoration as the pages are turned.

The book comes with two CDs narrated by film actress Debra Messing.
