1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order through my website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Amanda Hall Illustration (referred to as “I”, “me”, or “my”).

2. Orders and Payment

2.1 Order Placement: All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Once an order is placed, you will receive an email confirming the order details. This email is not an acceptance of the order; it is a confirmation that I have received your order.

2.2 Payment: Payment must be made in full at the time of order placement. I accept all major debit and credit cards. All payments must be made online and are handled securely by Stripe.

3. Pricing and Taxes

3.1 Pricing: All prices listed on my website are in British pounds and are subject to change without notice. I make every effort to ensure that the prices listed are accurate, but errors may occur. In the event of a pricing error, I reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund.

3.2 Taxes: For purchases made from outside the UK, the total purchase price listed on my website does not include any taxes applicable in your country of residence. If there are any taxes, duties, or customs fees imposed by your jurisdiction, the couriers who handle your delivery will inform you of the exact amount as they put your order through the local customs.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping: I will ship the products to the address you provide during checkout. Shipping costs are outlined at the time of checkout and may vary based on location and shipping method.

4.2 Delivery: I aim to deliver products within the estimated timeframe provided during checkout. However, please be aware that during peak times of the year, such as Christmas and Easter, or due to unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or industrial action, there may be delays in order processing and delivery. We will not be liable for any losses or damages you suffer as a result of a delay in delivery.

5. Order Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

5.1 Cancellations: You may cancel any orders, with the exception of goods that have been personalised at your request. Books inscribed with a personal message are non-returnable. Should you wish to cancel your order, please let me know via my Contact page.

5.2. Cancellation timeframe: If you wish to cancel your order, you must notify me within 14 days from the date when you receive your products.

5.3 Returns: To ensure a smooth return process, the courier service will be selected and scheduled by me. You must package the products securely in their original packaging, including all the documentation.

5.4 Return cost: The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your order refund. I will communicate the exact return shipping cost to you before the return is started.

5.5 Return courier arranged by the customer: You have the option of booking your own return courier, should you wish to. If you choose this option, you will be responsible for loss or damage to the goods while in transit.

5.6 Refunds: I may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in the value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. If the goods have been returned by a courier booked by yourself, any damage the goods may suffer while being shipped back will also be deducted from your refund.

6. Faulty Goods

6.1 If you have any questions or complaints about the goods, please contact me. You can do so via my contact form.

6.2 I am under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with this contract and in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6.3 If you wish to exercise your legal rights to reject goods which do not match the description on the website or have arrived damaged, you must provide clear photographs of the damaged products and packaging, along with a detailed description of the issue. You can do this by using my returns form.

6.4 I will refund or replace any non-conforming goods.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to my products and website content are owned by me.

8. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

This policy does not affect the purchaser’s statutory rights under applicable national laws in force, nor the purchaser’s rights against Amanda Hall Illustration arising from their sales/purchase contract.

9. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
